Getting Started
We are thrilled that you are interested in partnering with Cleveland Habitat to purchase a home!
Please note that applicants that have lived or worked in Cuyahoga or Lorain County for the last 12 months are now eligible for homes in Lorain County.
Our energy-efficient houses are geared to the size of homebuyer candidates' households. For example, a
3-bedroom house is available for households of three or more. Greater Cleveland Habitat has sold homes like these in the Buckeye-Woodhill neighborhood, and condos in the city of Euclid for households of one or two.
If you have no interest in Habitat's current available homes, we encourage you to apply at a different time. Habitat does not guarantee locations of future home sites.
We are only accepting applications for Lorain County homes at this time. Please reach out to our team by emailing homeownership@clevelandhabitat.org or calling us at 216-429-1299.
The Federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age (provided the applicant has the capacity to enter into a binding contract); because all or part of the applicant's income derives from any public assistance program; or because the applicant has in good faith exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. The Federal agency that administers compliance with this law concerning this creditor is the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, 1700 G St. NW Washington, DC 20552
