Group Opportunities

Engaging with Habitat for Humanity as a group offers a powerful opportunity to make a tangible impact on communities in need. By volunteering together, teams can help build affordable homes, assist in one of our ReStores, or participate in fundraising efforts, all while fostering a spirit of collaboration and unity. This hands-on involvement not only strengthens the bonds within your group but also empowers individuals to be part of something much larger. Whether it's through physical labor, fundraising, or advocacy, group engagement with Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity brings about lasting change and creates unforgettable experiences.

Playhouse Project  |  $2,500 Sponsorship

The Playhouse Project is an initiative that provides the opportunity for community members, volunteers, and local businesses to design and build small, handcrafted playhouses to be donated to qualified families in Cuyahoga and Lorain County. These playhouses offer a haven for play and embody the values of teamwork, creativity, and the essential need for a stable home environment. In addition, funds raised by the Playhouse Project go toward building big houses right here in Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties!

• Full-day volunteer event to construct and decorate the playhouse for a team of up to 10 volunteers.

• The location of build day may be at Habitat's Playhouse Workshop or at a workable location of your choosing 

  Sponsorship Includes

• Recognition on Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity social media platforms
• Photo opportunities during the playhouse build
• Habitat T-shirts for each volunteer

ReStore

ReStore Team Building Day

Often, people think of construction when they think of volunteer opportunities with Habitat.  However, we have many different and unique opportunities- the ReStore being one of them. Part discount home improvement store, part thrift store and part home store, Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity's ReStore has something for everyone. ReStore carries a wide selection of items including appliances, tools, lighting, building supplies, cabinets, home décor, seasonal items, furniture and so much more! 

Group volunteer opportunities are scheduled in 4-hour shifts at our North Randall, Cleveland or Amherst ReStore. Volunteer tasks may include pricing, sorting, merchandising, and processing donations.

Fill the Truck- Community Pick-Up Event

Come together with your team and host a community Fill the Truck event. Greater Cleveland Habitat ReStore will bring a box truck for you to fill with donated items to sell in our ReStore. The Fill the Truck event can be held in a location of your choosing (like your parking lot). This is a great opportunity for your staff to clean out their garages and donate unwanted and unused tools, building materials and furniture to a great cause!

Advertising, arranging a location, and loading the truck will be done by your team.  A representative of Habitat for Humanity will be on site to share volunteer opportunities, resources, and information about other Habitat programs within the community.

Neighborhood Revitalization

Community Clean-Up Day Sponsorship | $2,500 Sponsorship

This is a one-day community clean-up to help.  Volunteer opportunities are spread throughout a neighborhood helping to clean up streets and vacant lots in Habitat’s identified target neighborhoods. Tasks involve general lawn care, debris removal and lot beautification.  It is a rewarding transformative day. 

• A group of 10 volunteers.
• Full-day and half day events are available from April-October

Sponsorship includes:

• Recognition on Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity social media platforms
• Photo opportunities throughout the day
• Habitat T-shirts for each volunteer

  Neighborhood Impact Day | $25,000 Sponsorship

 The volunteer opportunities are spread throughout a neighborhood helping Habitat partner families and existing homeowners with needed exterior home repairs, landscaping, and debris removal. It is a rewarding transformative day as you volunteer alongside partner families, community members and longtime Habitat volunteers and staff. 

• Your group of up to 100 individuals will help Spruce-Up a specific neighborhood
• All clean-up and fix-up supplies and equipment will be provided by Cleveland Habitat
• Recognition at Cleveland Habitat Annual Event(s), in Annual Report, two newsletters, and social media
• Habitat T-shirts for each volunteer- co-branded shirts can be provided for an additional cost
• Photo opportunities during Spruce-Up
• Lunch can be provided for an additional cost

House Sponsorships

Cornerstone Builder | $10,000

• You will partner with others to sponsor a whole-house rehab/new construction
• Featured at groundbreaking and house dedication and media events surrounding house
• Up to 4 group opportunities (of up to 8 people) to volunteer on construction
• On-site signage to include name and logo
• Recognition in Annual Report, one newsletter and on social media
• Habitat T-shirts for each volunteer – co-branded T-shirts can be provided for an additional cost
• Listed with logo link on Cleveland Habitat website
• Photo opportunities during rehab/construction

  Foundation Builder | $40,000

• You will partner with others to sponsor a whole-house rehab/new construction
• Featured at groundbreaking and house dedication and media events surrounding house
• Up to 10 group opportunities (of up to 8 people) to volunteer on construction
• Optional check presentation opportunity
• On-site signage to include name and logo
• Recognition at Cleveland Habitat Annual Event(s), in Annual Report, 2 newsletters and social media
• Habitat T-shirts for each volunteer – co-branded T-shirts can be provided for an additional cost
• Listed with logo link Cleveland Habitat website
• Photo opportunities during rehab/construction

 Home Builder |   $80,000

• You will be the sole sponsor for a whole-house rehab/new construction
• Featured at groundbreaking and house dedication and media events surrounding house
• Up to 20 group opportunities (of up to 8 people) to volunteer on construction
• Logo on all marketing materials associated with house
• Optional check presentation opportunity
• On-site signage to include name and logo
• Recognition at Cleveland Habitat Annual Event(s), in Annual Report, 2 newsletters and social media
• Habitat T-shirts for each volunteer – co-branded T-shirts can be provided for an additional cost
• Listed with logo link on Cleveland Habitat website
• Photo opportunities during rehab/construction
