Volunteer With Us!

Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity builds strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Habitat homes are built through the generosity of volunteers like you. Volunteer opportunities are available for every skill level from beginner to advanced.

Volunteer opportunities are available in our ReStore, on construction sites, on the Playhouse Project, and at special events like the Walk/Run/Mosey; we value your time and contribution to supporting our mission.

Your talents will be utilized to their fullest. Also, volunteering helps build deep relationships, is fun, and makes a positive impact with other like-minded individuals in our community.

Step One: Take the online volunteer orientation or sign up to attend an in-person volunteer orientation (see calendar below).

Step Two: Take the required online safety courses (see calendar below).

Step Three: Register as a volunteer in Civic Champs below and take a look at the volunteer calendar!

Minors under the age of 18 must have a Waiver & Release of Liability Form completed by a parent or guardian and have a paper copy with them on the first day of volunteering.

Step Four: Sign up below and get volunteering!

*Please note, if you are completing court-ordered community service, it is required that you contact the volunteer department before beginning your hours to ensure they are properly tracked and counted.

Group Volunteer Opportunities

Engaging with Habitat for Humanity as a group offers a powerful opportunity to make a tangible impact on communities in need. By volunteering together, teams can help build affordable homes, assist in one of our ReStores, or participate in fundraising efforts, all while fostering a spirit of collaboration and unity. This hands-on involvement not only strengthens the bonds within your group but also empowers individuals to be part of something much larger.
