Mark Van De Walle has been volunteering with Greater Cleveland Habitat for almost 10 years and still loves the camaraderie among his fellow volunteers.

An electrical engineer by trade, Mark also enjoys woodworking in his spare time.

During his time putting his abilities and experience to good use with Habitat, Mark says he has also learned new ones, such as calming skills, while on the job.

He likes volunteering with Habitat because it feels like the right thing to do and because he is a fan of former president and CEO John Habat.

He’s also a fan of the color blue, which just happens to be one of our primary colors!
