Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity was pleased to welcome multiple community leaders and representatives from numerous churches to a blessing at the site of our 2023 Faith Build on the morning of June 7.
Deacon Matthew Lawler of Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist read a prayer to the bless the site, noting "whenever we look to the interests of our neighbor or the community, and serve them, we are, in a sense, God's own coworkers."
Cleveland City Councilman Brian Kazy (Ward 16) and Cuyahoga County Councilman Dale Miller (District 2) were in attendance, as well as representatives from the Cuyahoga Land Bank and Jefferson-Puritas West Park CDC.
