Jeannie has enjoyed volunteering at Greater Cleveland Habitat for six years now, and we are blessed to have her! Before volunteering with us, Jeannie worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for ten years, as well as a school nurse. Her care for others is something that led her to volunteer for Greater Cleveland Habitat, as well as other organizations including Christ Child Society and St. Vincent de Paul. Part of what she likes about Greater Cleveland Habitat is that everyone has a genuine interest in the work and the people are very friendly. Each of these things inspires her to be a better person. Volunteering has helped her develop more patience, compassion and gratitude. When she is not volunteering, you might find her at the theater enjoying a performance, or walking around the neighborhood with the Cleveland Hiking Club and her two dogs. She also enjoys cooking and traveling. Her favorite color is red, and her favorite foods are eggplant and dark chocolate.
