Development Coordinator (Full-Time)
Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity’s Development Coordinator is responsible for managing the donor database, implementing and maintaining a donor stewardship program, and providing administrative support for the Chief Development Officer.
Key responsibilities:
• Manages the donor database (Raiser’s Edge) to ensure information is accurate, current, and useful for external outreach, analyzing donor trends, tracking donor activities, and identifying opportunities to increase donations. Audits data and cleans up data to ensure accuracy as needed.
• Processes gifts, coordinates and sends acknowledgements and tracks filing of documentation.
• Manages board thank you call process.
• Assists with Faith Build and Walk outreach, organization, planning and implementation.
• Assists in managing Constant Contact email list(s).
• Manages email marketing contact database.
• Develops reports and analyses, as requested.
• Serves as point of contact with Finance for data coordination and reconciliation of donor database with accounting system.
• Serves as the liaison with Habitat International for Direct Marketing mailing lists and other data needs.
• Provides general support for all events.
• Collaborates with the Chief Development Officer and Director of Development to execute personal stewardship, recognition and retention strategies for individual donors.
• Executes a leadership giving program to foster relationships and connects supporters to areas of interest through in-person events, virtual events, donor impact report and other forms of communication and opportunities.
• Analyzes and shares data to support best practices and decision making for Development department and overall organization goals.
• Edits and coordinates quarterly mailings of thank-you letters from Partner Families to major donors.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature as may be required.
Qualifications:
• Associates degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field of study. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a fundraising, development, and/or communication related position. Nonprofit experience preferred.
• Excellent administrative skills
• Experience with a donor database is required. Raiser’s Edge experience is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of Quick Books a plus
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic environment

Position Details:
• Reports to: Chief Development Officer
• Full-time, non-exempt
• Workweek: Monday – Friday
• Targeted range: $18 - $21 per hour, commensurate with experience
